Construction Team v1.16 - Trash for Deleted Records, Financial Analytics and Referral Discount

6 min read

Construction Team v1.16, our construction project management software, makes a mistaken deletion fixable: deleted records now come back from a trash. Financial analytics has a new view with trends, and bank statements are imported in MT940 and camt.053 formats. Alongside these come external approval without an account in the system, refreshing prices in an offer, and a discount for you and for the company you refer.

Trash - deleted no longer means lost

Until version 1.16, deleting a record was a final action. Now deleted records in projects, field, accounting, warehouse, nomenclature, partners, organization and users go to the trash and are restored from there.

The audit log has a new "Deleted" tab - you can see what was deleted and by whom, and a record is restored with a single action. While it is in the trash, the deleted record is hidden from totals and reports, and its number or code is freed for a new record. Records are permanently purged automatically after a set period, so the trash doesn't fill up endlessly.

Why it's useful: when a colleague deletes a contract, act or item by mistake, you no longer have to restore data by hand. The record comes back in seconds, and the audit log shows who deleted it and when.

  • Trash in all the main modules - from projects and field to warehouse and users
  • "Deleted" tab in the audit log, with record restore
  • Deleted records don't count in totals and reports
  • Automatic permanent purge after a set period

Financial analytics got a new view that shows where the business is heading, not just where it stands today. The charts show monthly trends and, on hover, give the month and the amount. Receivables and payables are broken down by age, by accounts, partners and sites, so you can see who owes and for how long.

Why it's useful: you see in time which receivables are running late and whether monthly revenue is growing or falling, before it becomes a liquidity problem.

Cash flow stays tied to accounts, and VAT is switched on and off only in it. Receivables are shown with VAT, and retentions without.

Discount when you refer a company

Know another construction company that would find the system useful? You can now refer it, and both sides win a discount.

How it works:

  1. In "Settings → Billing" you find your company's personal referral code and link.
  2. The other company registers through your link or with your code.
  3. After its first payment, it receives a discount.
  4. You receive a discount when the referred company keeps paying for its subscription.

The reward is given only for a genuinely paying subscription. If the referred company's payment is refunded, the reward is reversed as well. The same screen has a "My referrals" dashboard - you see whom you referred and how far each referral has got.

Bank statements - MT940 and camt.053

In addition to the existing formats, the system now also reads statements in MT940 (SWIFT) and camt.053 (ISO 20022 XML) - the two formats most banks offer for automated processing.

External participants without an account

Part of the work on a site goes through people who don't have an account in the system. In 1.16 they get more options through a secure link:

  • External approval - a public portal for approving materials and drawings, with a reply from the external party
  • Subcontractor - receives the defects from the punch list and can upload a photo as proof
  • Requests for information (RFI) - the public link can be seen, copied and resent without being replaced while it is active
  • Correspondence - a contract or request for information can have an explicit addressee, and the letter reaches the external addressee
  • In "Discussion" you can see who has seen a message

Why it's useful: you don't need to create an account for every subcontractor, supplier or designer to get an answer. The link does the job, and the reply stays recorded in the system instead of getting lost in emails and messengers.

Refreshing prices in an offer

The prices of line items in an offer can now be refreshed from nomenclature with one dialog and a warning banner. An expired offer has a final status and doesn't accept changes to values, and for a sent offer there is a warning before you save a change.

Why it's useful: the offer doesn't keep last month's prices. You update it from nomenclature instead of rewriting line items by hand.

"By acts" report and warehouse that follows documents

Contract execution gained a "By acts" switch with "Quantities" and "Values" modes, search, sub-sites and hiding of zero rows, with export in search order and a phone view. So in seconds you see what has been completed under each act against the contracted quantities and values.

The warehouse follows documents - stock is issued when an act is approved and on a sale under a revenue document, and the movement is broken down by recipe with the row's origin visible.

Other improvements

The Bulgarian lev is no longer a choice for new contracts, offers, accounts and payments, and an act and certificate under a lev contract from 2026 are issued in euro. Amounts in the bill of quantities, retentions, overdue items and analytics are by document currency, with a "Total" per currency. Lists in field, projects, accounting, warehouse, nomenclature, organization and admin are exported to Excel and CSV through one common model. Invoices, orders, offers, contracts, acts and certificates share a common business layout with a true-quality PDF. The AI assistant answers "how to" questions from the help.

For other countries

The features in 1.16 work the same way everywhere the system is used. The MT940 and camt.053 formats are international and are used by banks across Europe.

Where this is heading

The trash and the trends in financial analytics are about peace of mind and visibility - so that work isn't lost and you can see where the business is heading. Upcoming versions will extend external participants and connect more modules to the warehouse and accounting.
