You Can Now Work with Construction Team from the Claude App

You can now work with Construction Team from the Claude app on your phone: enter documents and data, and get reports, for example how much you still owe on a contract. The connection is included in all plans and takes about five minutes to set up.

What you do from your phone

The technical manager asks on site how much concrete is contracted and how much of it has already been certified. You open Claude, type the question and get the quantities by line item, taken from the contract and the acts. If your permissions do not include finances, you will not see prices or amounts. You do not need to be in the office or open a computer.

The same goes for other documents. The assistant reads contracts and their annexes, acts, invoices, payments, offers, bills of quantities and partners. You can ask it to compare two contracts, rank unpaid invoices by due date, or tell you how much has been certified against how much has been paid on a site.

Your phone also works for entering data. For example, you write "Enter in Construction Team concrete C25/30 and reinforcing steel B500B, the supplier Betonov Vazel EOOD and the Vitosha site", and Claude creates the two items in the nomenclature, the partner and the site. The same applies to sub-sites, expense documents, the site daily log and worked hours: you say what was done today and the assistant prepares the record. It reads and compares contracts and acts, but does not create them.

Before saving anything, the assistant shows the exact values and waits for your confirmation.

What a manager uses it for

A manager rarely has time to sign in to the system and put reports together. From the phone, they ask directly: how much has been certified against how much has been paid on site X, which contracts have an unpaid balance, what the site daily log says for the last week, or how many hours were worked on the site this month. The answer comes from the data the team has already entered, and nobody has to prepare it first.

The assistant can compare two contracts, or an annex with the original contract, and show where the quantities and values differ. Before you sign, this takes minutes instead of two documents open side by side. If the manager is not allowed to see something, the assistant does not see it either.

What an accountant uses it for

An accountant can ask which invoices are unpaid and get them ranked by due date, with the balance on each. The same goes for acts: the amount, how much has been paid and how much remains. Ask about the payments on a contract and you see which are paid and which are coming up.

The assistant can also enter data. Give it the details from a supplier invoice and it prepares the expense document, showing the values and waiting for confirmation before saving. It can also create a partner or an item that does not exist yet. It only reads revenue invoices, payments, acts and contracts, and does not create them.

What you should know about security

The assistant works with your permissions and only for the company you choose when connecting. If you are not allowed to see payments, it will not see them either.

When you connect, you get a "Connect an application" screen. It shows the company and exactly what the assistant asks for: reading data and, separately, writing. Writing is optional. If you allow only reading, you get reports and nothing in your data can change.

Access stops with one button. In Settings, Connected apps, click "Revoke" on the Claude row. This also stops access if you change or lose your phone.

How to connect

Open the connector settings in the Claude app and add a custom connector. Enter a name, for example Construction Team, and paste the address https://mcp.constructionteam.app. Then sign in to Construction Team, check the company on the "Connect an application" screen and click "Allow".

If you have already added the connector in Claude through the browser, do not add it a second time: it also shows up in the phone app. Claude's menu changes from version to version, so if you cannot find the exact name, look for Connectors in your account settings.

Start with a question whose answer you know and check the numbers against the Construction Team screen. If they match, use the assistant for the reports that take you the most time.
