How is a schedule generated from a bill of quantities?+

Create a schedule from a BoQ and pick the cost-code method. The generator recognizes each item's trade (by cost code, catalog item, IFC type or keywords), orders activities in technological sequence, adds dependencies and phases the work by floor on a working calendar.

Which task dependency types are supported?+

The four standard types - Finish-to-Start, Start-to-Start, Finish-to-Finish and Start-to-Finish, plus lag in days, for example for concrete curing. Circular dependencies are blocked.

What does the critical path show?+

The chain of tasks with zero float - any delay on it moves the end date. Toggle it in the Gantt view and it is highlighted in red, so you know where to focus resources.

What is 4D BIM and how does the schedule connect to the 3D model?+

The 4D view links elements of the IFC model to schedule activities. For schedules generated from a BoQ the links are derived automatically; manual assignment is available via selection in the 3D view. You get a day-by-day construction simulation and element coloring by status against the plan.

How accurate is the auto-generated schedule?+

It is an engineering draft with roughly ±30-50% accuracy - a solid starting point based on average production rates. Review the assumptions and adjust durations to your crews and site conditions before using it for contractual deadlines.

Can I correct a misclassified trade?+

Yes. Correct the item once for the current schedule only, or choose Remember - the system saves the rule and future schedules recognize the same item automatically. Saved rules are managed in settings.

Can I export the schedule?+

Yes - export the timeline to PDF and the schedule list to Excel or PDF. Each schedule also keeps a version history when regenerated.
